People’s Organization for Strategic Excellence (POSE), we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that recently celebrated our thirty-year anniversary. Our team is committed to provide housing solutions and community support to individuals and families to fulfill their dream of home ownership and economic sustainability for future generations. Our services include a comprehensive homeownership education program that include credit restoration, financing, and understanding mortgages, mortgage facilitation and low to moderate income housing development.

Mission
Our mission is to meet the single and multi-family housing needs for low to moderate income households, including the specialized needs of the elderly, Veterans and people who require accomodations for physical disabilities as well as Foster Aged Out Youth(FAOY) and Re-entry Citizens. We seek to create safe neighborhoods by partnering with individuals and organizations to provide housing education and employment opportunities to people of modest means so they can become self - sufficient and improve their quality of life.

We serve our customers with the highest level of professionalism, compassion and respect. We also invest in our own staff continuing education and best practices development.

What we do
We are a certified Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) with the Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) and have developed ten single family permanent housing units and provided our services to over seven hundred individuals and families.
Over the years we have established long standing relationships with our community and continue to provide community services to meet the growing needs of our neighbors. Over the past three years, POSE's Bountiful Blessing Basket Program has allowed us to reach over 200 households.
